We had a big zoo weekend and visited not one, but two zoos. On Saturday we went to Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo. It's a small, free zoo with a couple of small animals, some insect/bug exhibits, and hands-on science exhibits. We ended up spending a lot of time inside the museum part. It was surprising how such a small space could keep us (even Colin) entertained for so long!

On Sunday we spontaneously decided to go to San Francisco Zoo. It's been a couple of years since we last went and we've been missing out! In addition to all the animal exhibits and the train ride, they have a huge play area with multiple playgrounds that was recently added. We played there for a good hour and I was excited to run into my preschool friend Mac there. After we saw each other, we were inseparable for the rest of the day. The whole family is in agreement that it was a great day at the zoo!
