Month 26 Update

Here are the silly things that I've been up to lately.

• Smile!  Mommy finally convinced me to smile for the camera. Usually whenever I see that thing pointed toward me I just stare. Then I run behind the lens demanding to see what's on the little screen. One day, I finally decided to listen to Mommy and gave her a big happy grin, after playing a game of dragging all of my stuffed animals from my bedroom to the living room couch.

And another big smile while trying on Poh-poh's glasses.

• Morning routine: This is how I insist on leaving the house for daycare every morning - still wearing pajamas and carrying all of my animal friends with me. 

• Potty training:  Or at least pretending. One of my favorite pastimes now is sitting on my potty and reading my Potty book. Too bad I have yet to actually go potty in it.

• Bumbo:  Look, I still fit in the Bumbo seat! Mommy had taken it out to loan to a friend, but I insisted on sitting in it and even ate a whole lunch in it. Then, I set up some lunch for Doggy.

• Time Out:  This month I received my very first time out. I was supposed to be brushing my teeth but instead was clowning around. When Mommy tried to take the toothbrush from me, I swatted her in the face! I was immediately sent to stand in the hallway. It must have been the tone of Mommy's voice, because I knew I was in trouble and cried the entire time.
  
  A few days later, while Doggy was eating lunch in the Bumbo (above), I suddenly decided that he needed some disciplining as well. I grabbed him and rushed to the hallway while declaring "time out!" I hope it was as effective on him as it was on me.

He even received a big lecture from me.

Last weekend Daddy ordered this giant sandwich from the deli by our house. It's almost as big as I am!

As a comparison, Mommy dug up this newborn photo of me from two years ago. I was so tiny back then!
