December was a busy month, filled with lots of holiday activities.
Christmas Tree Shopping:
It was more like Christmas wreath shopping. Since we wouldn't be home during Christmas, Mommy settled on a giant wreath hung over our fireplace to put the presents under.
Meeting Santa:
My meeting with Santa this year didn't go so well. We actually had no plans to visit him, but then I happened to be at the mall with Mommy and Grandma and there he was, sitting in his chair with no one in line. I was happy to give him high fives and fist bumps, but when it came time to sit on his lap, I kind of freaked out. There was crying and back-arching involved. So we settled on a photo with all three of us and Santa.
Holiday Party:
We stopped by the annual BMC holiday party at the Burlingame Rec Center. There were several arts and crafts stations and a magic show that kept me entertained for a while. I also got to decorate some Christmas cookies, but once I discovered that I could eat the frosting, I forgot all about the decorating.
Holiday Lights:
One evening we went to check out this one street in San Carlos where every single house was covered with holiday lights. It was pretty impressive. I especially liked all the snowmen.
Art Projects:
Finally, I kept very busy at preschool and daycare with all of the holiday-themed art projects. I made lots of snowmen, reindeer, and ornaments. Mommy also enlisted me to help decorate presents with Christmas stickers, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I love art time!
