Disneyland!

Mommy and Daddy took me to Disneyland for the first time and I had so much fun! Before the trip, all I knew about Disneyland was that I would see Mickey Mouse, a princess castle, and get to ride on roller coasters. I was so excited! The day was everything we hoped for and more. Since we went on a weekday, there were barely any crowds or lines. In fact the lines were so short we got to go on a lot of my favorite rides twice. It was a great day!

My first ride was the Astro Orbitor. Loved it.

Mommy was surprised at how much smaller the castle was than she remembered. Then again, it's been at least fifteen years since she last went to Disneyland!

Dumbo!
So much fun on the teacup ride! Mommy held the center wheel still cuz she didn't want to get dizzy.

We had a lot of fun exploring Toontown. This is where I rode my first real roller coaster (twice!). Mommy was nervous for me but it turns out I loved it. I'm definitely a thrill seeker.

Daddy and I are in the fourth car, and below is a zoomed in photo with my expression. Looks like I'm enjoying it!

I wasn't really into meeting the princesses or any characters, which saved us a lot of time since there are always long lines for that. But we walked through Minnie's house and there she was waiting at the end, so I ended up getting a picture with her. We also walked through Mickey's house, but it was kind of dark inside and I got nervous. By the time we reached Mickey in his "studio" (a dark room), I wanted nothing to do him and demanded that we leave without getting a photo.

The Disneyland Railroad was a twenty minute ride around the park and gave us a nice break from all the walking. There were a few stops so Mommy and I practiced our funny faces.

Here's a video of us on the Autopia ride. I loved driving so much we went on it twice in a row! All three of us squeezed into one car the first time - not the best idea.

We caught the parade down Main Street. My favorite parts were seeing Pluto and the float with the princesses.

I also really enjoyed seeing Mickey and other characters perform in the on-stage show.

Mommy offered me a bite of her Mickey Mouse ice cream bar. Of course I refused to give it back to her! So much for sharing.
Another ride on Dumbo. We're wearing our hoods because it was "windy."

It was a long day and we managed to stay at the park for over eight hours, with just a half-hour stroller nap in the middle of it. Then, we strolled through Downtown Disney, had dinner at Rainforest Cafe, and caught part of the fireworks show on the way out. It was a very successful first trip to Disneyland and I'm already talking about going back again!
