This year's Easter projects. All bunnied out. |
We had a fun weekend, filled with all the usual Easter activities.
Easter egg decorating:
I am obsessed with eggs - both eating them and playing with them. I play with those plastic eggs all year round so coloring the real eggs is always one of my favorite projects.
So proud of my eggs I had to take a picture with my iPhone. |
Egg hunt:
We went to the annual Easter egg hunt at Washington Park. It was pretty crowded and the 3-4 year age group was especially crazy. The whole thing was over in less than five minutes. I didn't get as many chocolate eggs as last year, but some kids didn't get any at all, so I can't complain. In hindsight, I should have used Colin and gone with the 0-1 year age group, since a lot of kids were helping out their younger siblings. He was too busy sleeping though.
Easter Bunny visit:
The Easter Bunny came overnight and filled my basket with small toys and goodies. I had made it clear that I didn't want him coming into our house (he's too scary), so I agreed to leave the basket outside our front door instead.
He left treats for Brady too, but I had to help him find them. I enjoyed another egg hunt in our backyard, and Brady enjoyed gobbling up all the treats that were inside.
Look how intently he is looking at those treat-stuffed eggs! |
Brady and I really enjoyed the new bubble maker that the Easter Bunny left me.
