I graduated from preschool! We had a simple graduation ceremony outside of our preschool classroom. We recited the Pledge of Allegiance, performed some small plays, sang songs, then each received our diplomas. There were some tears, thanks to one of the teachers who is leaving the school after fourteen years. She started getting emotional during her speech and it was hard for most of the moms to keep a dry eye! We'll all have some great memories of our past three years at preschool.

Playing a fish in The Three Little Fishes. My only line was "Not by the skin of my finny-fin-fin!" |
Here's a video of me receiving my diploma. (Sorry for the bad quality - Mommy attempted to take a video and photo at the same time with her camera and failed, so we just have Daddy's fuzzy iPhone video.)
At the end of the ceremony we all ran out and danced to Let it Go. Apparently there was some debate about which song we should all dance to, and the boys weren't happy with the final decision (you can see them covering their ears during the song).
And finally, we all went inside the classroom and celebrated with some cake, which Colin probably enjoyed the most.
Saying goodbye to my teachers. |
And just like that, my preschool years are over. Onward to kindergarten!
