Halloween Fun

There were so many Halloween events this year, I got to wear my costume at least five times! This year I dressed up as Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. I made it clear that I wasn't the pony, but the girl that the pony transforms into in the movie. Mommy had no idea who I was talking about so I had to show her the video on YouTube.

Mommy bought the rainbow "cutie mark" patch on Etsy, the rainbow wig, wristbands and socks on Amazon, and the skirt from Goodwill. I was so excited to wear it all together, especially the wig!

The week before Halloween, my kindergarten class had a scavenger hunt at school, so we all got to show off our costumes. We also went to the BMC Halloween Parade on Burlingame Ave. Colin dressed up as a minion - an easy costume that didn't feel like a costume. Mommy got crafty and made the beanie herself - the goggle was made out of a mason jar lid and a giant googly eye. Too bad Colin doesn't like wearing hats - he would only wear it for a few minutes at a time to take pictures.

Colin's costume was partly inspired by Brady's costume at day care (they dress all the dogs up and take a photo).

I wore my costume again at my school's Halloween parade.

Me and my kindergarten bff Teagan.

And again for Colin's Little Wonders' Halloween Party.

On Halloween we finally got to carve our pumpkins.

At night, we decided to skip the craziness of our neighborhood and instead went trick or treating with my friend Shaifali in the neighborhood by our old preschool. We went nonstop for over an hour and got lots of candy! Colin wasn't feeling too well so even when Mommy took him out of the stroller to trick or treat, he refused and climbed back into it. Maybe next year.
