Great America

We bought season passes to Six Flags Great America even though we had never visited the park before. They have a Snoopy-themed area just for kids as well as a water park and, well, they had us at Planet Snoopy. We went over July 4th weekend and had a blast!

There were Peanuts-themed signs, statues, pictures everywhere. And we saw every character walking around at least once. Colin was fascinated with the characters, but refused to take any photos with them.

We loved that there was a good number of rides that both Colin and I could go on and they were all within a small area, so we didn't have to walk too far. My favorite, of course, was the Woodstock roller coaster. There was practically no line, so I rode it over and over again.

Colin has no idea why he's holding his hands up, but did it because everyone else was.

We had so much fun that we went back the next day (good thing it's so close to Poh-poh's house)! This time we checked out the water park - there was a shallow kids pool and some splash pads, but our favorite was the wave pool. After that Mommy thought we were done for the day, but I insisted on going back for more Planet Snoopy rides. It was a long day. Amazingly, I still had enough energy to stay up for fireworks later that night!
