We had a week off for Spring Break with absolutely no plans, so we spent the week hanging out, going on random outings, and just enjoying being able to sleep in and not have to rush each morning to get to school. It was just what I needed.

On one of the days that Colin was in daycare, Mommy and I went to visit the Hiller Aviation Museum. The best exhibit was the nose section of a Boeing 747. There was an upstairs and downstairs cabin with seats, as well as an entire cockpit. It was really cool! The rest of the museum was not as interesting, at least for me, but the main reason for going was to see the Happy Birds performance. It was an entertaining show of parrots doing all kinds of tricks, including riding scooters, bicycles, flying tricks, and talking and singing. It was totally up my alley and I loved the whole performance.
Finally, on Friday we went to the much anticipated grand opening of the new Village Park playground. It had been closed all winter and they had a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate its opening. Everything was so new and clean - hope it stays that way for awhile!
