City Adventure

It was a lazy Sunday morning and we had no plans, so Mommy and Daddy asked what I wanted to do. "I want to ride a train" was my response. Since we live so close to the BART station, we decided to take a spontaneous trip into the city.

I was so excited for my first ride on BART!

Even better, the train went through lots of underground tunnels.

After a 45 minute ride, we were in San Francisco. We had lunch at Hubert Keller's Burger Bar, home of the $60 burger. I ate the $8 mac n' cheese from the kids' menu, which turned out to be just Kraft from a box. Oh well.

After lunch we strolled through Union Square, chased pigeons, and took pictures like tourists. I kept asking to ride on the cable car and the double-decker sightseeing bus. Daddy promised we'll go back to do those during the warmer months.

We also shopped at the Uniqlo store where I got to play on the pretty stairs.

It was a fun adventure, and Mommy and I totally passed out on the train ride home. I was pretty upset when I woke up to find that we weren't on the train anymore. Looks like there will be lots more BART rides in my future.
