Fairyland

Wylie joined us on a trip to Children's Fairyland in Oakland last weekend. It was a very scaled down version of an amusement park, with lots of cute storybook characters and a few rides.

I rode my first ferris wheel! At first I refused to get on, but after seeing Wylie ride it, I had to do it too. Since he didn't want to ride a second time, I went all by myself!

We both loved the train ride, especially when it went through the tunnel.

We spent a lot of time sliding down Jack n' Jill's hill.

And found our way through the Alice in Wonderland maze.

This carousel was another ride I refused to go on, until I saw Wylie ride it. Then of course I had to go too.

It was a fun morning topped off with a trip to the famous Zachary's for some yummy deep dish pizza. Oakland's not so bad after all.
