Bay To Breakers

Last Sunday Mommy ran her first Bay to Breakers with Aunties Gigi, Donna, Ida, and Elite. Bay to Breakers is a San Francisco tradition which involves a 12k race through the city. In addition to the serious runners, thousands of people dress in costumes (or nothing at all) and parade their way through the city.

Being Asian parents and all, the mommies dressed up as "Tiger Moms."

It was a fun run across the city. With the exception of four steep blocks uphill, Mommy ran the whole 7.45 miles, the longest she has ever run in her life. Those hours at the gym paid off!

Hayes Street Hill. The thighs were burning!

Daddy and I waited near the finish line and watched the runners go by. We saw Mommy run by and then she actually turned around and ran back to us to say hi.

Mommy, you're going the wrong way.

Go Tiger Moms!
