Santa Cruz Camping Trip

We spent the Memorial Day weekend camping at Manresa State Beach in the Santa Cruz mountains. This was my third camping trip and it keeps getting more and more fun as I get older.

We especially liked this campground because the beach was a short walk away. We went every day and spent hours building sand castles, chasing the waves, and flying kites.

Evening hike to the beach.

When we weren't at the beach, we got to ride bikes/trikes, swing from the trees, run around and play in the dirt - everything a kid likes to do.

I also enjoyed hanging out with Sumo and Brady all weekend. The best part was that Brady got to have a "sleepover" in the tent with us, which I was really excited about.

Sumo wanted nothing to do with Brady.

Of course, no camping trip is complete without good food and s'mores.

Uncle Kevin's new creation: bacon pancakes

Mommy took me on a short hike before we left. She wishes we discovered this sooner because it was a great photo opp!
