Last weekend we went to check out the Oakland Zoo. It's been awhile since I've been to a zoo. When Mommy asked what animals I wanted to see, I replied "the doggies!" I didn't see any doggies, but I liked seeing the giant tortoises, monkeys, and the elephant ("I want one at my house").

I was really scared of this frog and refused to smile. |
Loved my ladybug painting! |
Mommy's favorite, the gibbon. |
Giant fruit bat. Ewww... Daddy told me he was wearing a blanket. |
This tortoise was 125 years old! |

"Look, the elephant has a tail. Brady has a tail too!" |
The highlight was the train ride that took us to see the wallaroos and emus (not to be mistaken for kangaroos and ostriches). There were also some carnival rides in the park adjacent to the zoo. I insisted on going on this spinning bucket ride. It was a nice way to end the afternoon.
