Superhero Party

I went to a birthday party for my preschool friend Josh. It was a superhero party and his mommy made every kid a superhero costume complete with cape, mask, and cuffs.

There was a surprise visit from Spiderman!  I love Spiderman and am always talking about him, but was nervous seeing him in person.  So when he started the show, I ended up sitting way back with another friend.  Eventually we warmed up to him and even participated in his Spiderman training exercises, including doing jumping jacks, push-ups, and imitating our favorite animals.

We were actually holding hands while sitting here, which was really cute.

Spiderman is very talented. When not saving lives, he moonlights as a magician and a balloon twister.

And here is some proof to show how much I love Spiderman - we went to the toy store a few weeks ago. Out of all the toys in the store, I picked this:

And another one. One day Daddy picked me up from day care and was greeted with this. Apparently Johanna was buying new costumes for dress up and picked one out especially for me. I loved it so much I insisted on wearing it home.
